On January 25, 2023, a regular meeting of the Council of Representatives of the Banking Ombudsman was held the following to the results of the work of the Banking Ombudsman in 2022.

The Banking Ombudsman E.D.Siyrbay was presented a detailed report of done work in 2022 year to the Council of Representatives.

The Act of documentary verification of the execution of the Cost Estimate for 2022 year was also heard and approved ensuring the activities of Banking Ombudsman, which was made by Rizabekova Sh.B. a Member of Audit Commission (‘El birligi”).

The Banking Ombudsman was received 1,161 appeals from citizens in 2022, which is 18% more than in previous year. Totally 55 personal appointments were held, 32% were related to mortgage lending, 10 cases were opened, which in 70% - were resolved in favor of the borrower. There is an increase of applications for loans was issued by MFO.

The Banking Ombudsman was taken a part in INFONet-2022 International Meeting of Financial Ombudsmen.

Activity of social networks, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and also Banking Ombudsman website was marked in 2022y, information, which improving the financial literacy of the population and articles were published, that reflecting real cases.
